The Elvehjem Museum Of Art is located right on the campus of the University of Wisconsin- Madison which can sometimes pose parking problems depending on what time of day you go. It is a great place to go though and they house a lot of exceptional art! They are open convenient hours and best of all admission is free! It is a very impressive museum. More geared towards adults as children would probably be bored and get restless.

Elvehjem Museum Of Art is a great museum in Madison. They have a lot of exhibits from watercolors, paintings, sculptures, photographs, and prints. They also have a lot of functions there like they will host social events or have musical performances. They are open everyday but Mondays. There is a nice museum shop on site that has posters and post cards of some of the items that are on exhibit.

in the heart of madison, the LVM museum is a great university museum with lots of programs and surprisingly great art. the library inside the museum is even better!
