This is an excellent place to take your children, ideally ages 12 and under, and VERY affordable. Museum is fairly big with lots of activities for your children and you to preform. All in all it is very entertaining, and located downtown in the heart of Madison's west side. Fun for the whole family.
Great hands-on fun!

The Madison Children's Museum is an excellent place to take your children for a great learning experience! They have tons of activities for all different ages of children - even babies!! They have free admission on the first Sunday of every month, otherwise it is regularly a$4.00 per person. It is located on State Street which can be difficult to park but it is worht it to take the time to find a spot.

This is a great museum for children located on the capital square in Madison. Lots of hands on activities for the kids with lots of space to move around. You'll never feel crowded here. They also offer wonderful workshops for girl scout troops. There is even an area for babies and toddlers. Highly recommend.
